Ways to Care for Your Hire

1.      Return your outfit unwashed

The first professional cleaning is crucial. Any incorrect cleaning attempts can permanently damage the garment. Please send your outfits back without trying to clean them – we’ll take care of it.

2.      Be cautious with self-tan and perfume

If you’ve applied self-tan or have gotten spray tan, make sure to shower at least twice before wearing your outfit to avoid staining. Avoid spraying perfume directly on the garment, as it can damage the fabric and may prevent the item from being rehired.

3.      Avoid crossbody bags

Friction from crossbody bags while walking or dancing can cause irreversible pulling and damage to the dress.

4.      Take care with maxi dresses

When wearing full-length dresses, lift the hem off the floor while walking to prevent damage, especially on dirty or wet surfaces.

5.      Do not alter your dress

Please do not make any alterations without consulting Styled by Jane first.
